US begins buying Dominican beef, after long sanction

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic exported its first container of raw and intact beef (beef), to the United States, after the lifting of the impediment that had weighed on the country since 1997.

According to Giovanni Molina, director of Livestock, the amount exported is around 40,000 pounds, a figure that they expect to increase in the coming years.
