With its “crazy” Brazilian counterpart, the Argentine cow is on sale for a month in China

The temporary suspension of Brazilian beef exports to China, after learning of the confimation of a new case of “mad cow”, will have an impact that will not go unnoticed on the business, according to analysis from the Rosario (Rosgan) cattle market .

But unlike 2021, when a similar situation occurred, there are a number of factors that could lessen the immediate effects. Brazil is the biggest player in the beef refrigeration business , and none of its competitors is in a position to replace the volumes it supplies to China.
