USDA forecasts drop in international beef trade

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) anticipated a fall in the international trade of beef for next year of at least 100,000 tons, this would be mainly due to the reductions that China is having in its demand, in 2023 the Asian nation will demand 9% less of this protein. For the following year, international beef trade could rise to 12.1 million tons (mt), a volume that would be less than the 12.2 million tons projected for the end of 2022.
