The amount of meat held in cold stores grows in the US to record figures

Inventories of beef held in cold stores in the US have grown to 233,908 tons, 24% more than in 2021. Of this amount, the majority corresponded to boneless meat, totaling 210,763 tons.

As for pork, this totaled 241,324 million tons, 17% more than in 2021. As a whole, red meats totaled more than 453,592 million tons, 20% more than in August. Another category such as chicken meat added 377,159 t, 17% more, and turkey meat already represents 195,801 t, 1% more.
