Mexican Beef® joined the 2026 National Congress on Agri-Food Health and Safety with its own stand, and Executive Director Quedma Vega moderated a high-level panel on diversifying Mexico's agri-food exports beyond the USMCA.
Mexican Beef® took part in the 2026 National Congress on Agri-Food Health and Safety (Congreso Nacional de Sanidad e Inocuidad Agroalimentaria) with its own stand, and through the participation of Executive Director Quedma Vega, who moderated the panel discussion "Beyond the USMCA: diversifying agri-food exports to Asia, Europe, and other markets."
The panel brought together Jorge Esteve Recolons, President of the National Agricultural Council (CNA), and Juan Cortina Gallardo, Vice President of Foreign Trade and International Relations of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE).
The discussion focused on the progress and scenarios of the USMCA renegotiation, and on identifying strategic actions between government and the private sector to diversify agri-food exports to Europe, Asia, and other regions — through tariff and non-tariff negotiations that ease market access.
