Meat sector calls on the Government to return control and surveillance in ports

Randy Ross Wiebe, head of the Paraguayan Chamber of Meat (CPC), asked the Government to return control and surveillance in the ports, especially in the private ones, since it is where there is the greatest fragility. “We see with concern because in recent years the controls in the ports themselves and surveillance have been somewhat abandoned. In 2020 the controls were suspended and with that I don’t know if a free hand is being given, but there are fewer controls, ”he criticized.
