Meat exports to Mexico rush

Sigma Alimentos, one of the largest commercial and industrial food groups in Mexico, a subsidiary of Grupo Alfa -a conglomerate with almost 60,000 employees and a turnover of more than 15 billion dollars a year- , arrived in Argentina to seek suppliers of red and white meat , after the opening of the Mexican market to these national products approved in the second half of last November.
The company, which has operations in 20 countries, including the United States and the Eurozone , toured the industrial plants of the Argentine refrigerators that were authorized by the Mexican government to export meat to that market, visited local sanitary control facilities and held a series ofpreparatory meetings to start beef import operations from Mexico .
