Meat exports fell more than 10% in value and almost 6% in volume

Beef exports closed September with a negative sign and with a growing concern in the sector regarding purchases by China, which have already begun to decline significantly. According to a report by the Meat Exporters Consortium (ABC), shipments fell 5.3% last month compared to August to 54,400 tons of product weight and closed at USD 300 million, a decrease of 10.2% monthly and a downward trend in the coming months.
