Lower inflation with imports, but without health risks: UMFFAAC

The Mexican Union of Agrochemical Manufacturers and Formulators (UMFFAAC) understands the need for the government to take measures to control the inflation of products in the basic basket, but warns that there are serious health risks by suspending food import regulations carried out by the National Service for Health, Safety and Food Quality ( Senasica ), as well as the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks ( Cofepris ).
