Livestock exports started at a slower pace in 2023

At the end of January, the Colombian livestock sector registered income of 37.59 million dollars (FOB value) on account of exports of bovines, meat and dairy products. This was revealed in the report prepared by the Office of Planning and Economic Studies of Fedegán-FNG with data from DANE, which also recorded last year’s data. Compared to the first month of 2022, revenue fell 25.6% . However, they are 36.5% higher than those of January 2021 .
