Increases the slaughter of cattle in Panama

The slaughter of cattle in Panama increased, compared to last year’s figures, according to official statistics collected in different local media, such as the Metro Libre newspaper on its website.

Thus, at the end of July 2022, 202,743 heads of cattle were slaughtered, with March being the month with the highest slaughter (31,520). At the end of July of the previous year, there were 200,570. Likewise, March was the month with the most killings, that is, 32,236 heads, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC) of the Comptroller General’s Office.
