Colombia advances in the task of conquering the Chinese beef market

The lifting of restrictions on the export of beef and pork to the People’s Republic of China is a significant achievement for Colombia . This is largely due to the coordinated work between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) and the country’s livestock sector. However, the ICA clarifies that this does not mean a free hand for exports to China , since there are still processes with Invima and other entities, but it is an advance that opens the possibilities of the market.
