China and the US, key players in the world trade in beef

On the Chinese side, an increase in the demand for meat is expected, after the restrictions due to Covid-19 are lifted, while in the case of the United States, the fear is due to the lower supply. China will continue to be the key player in this market depending on how its demand behaves, which is expected to increase in the second half of the year, which will boost world beef prices, according to the bank’s report.
