A greater space is opened to be able to export meat to the US.

The United States could not supply 400 to 500 thousand tons of meat, neither with its internal production nor with shipments from countries like Argentina and Brazil. Nor were there many options to import from regular markets like Mexico and Canada, or from other options like Australia and New Zealand. According to the most recent Rabobank report (cited by Beef Central) on beef industry projections for the fourth quarter of 2022 and early 2023, the US could experience a potential annual production loss of 400,000 to 500,000 metric tons.
