Livestock sector market diversifies in Querétaro

The livestock sector identifies that meat production in the state has diversified, derived from changes in consumption as a result of the impact of both the pandemic and inflation.

However, a reduction in the per capita consumption of traditionally consumed foods is also reflected, explained the president of the Querétaro Regional Livestock Union (UGRQ), Alejandro Ugalde Tinoco.

Given this trend, the consumption of traditional meat has faced a decline in the last year, a situation that may also be related to the impact of inflation on consumers’ pockets.
